This electronic archive of Louisiana properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places is being constructed by the Louisiana State University Office of Community Preservation for the Division of Historic Preservation of the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism.
Louisiana Landmarks contains approximately 100 properties selected by the Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation from the National Register listings. These sites, about 10% of all Louisiana NR listings, were chosen as being representative of Louisiana's rich and varied architectural heritage.
